The Competence Center Sustainability and Infrastructure Systems (from the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI) and the Professorship of Circular Economy (at the Campus Straubing for Biotechnology and Sustainability at the Technical University of Munich) have joined forces in the “r+TeTra” project, which accompanies the BMBF’s “r+Impuls” funding program, to help achieve the program’s objectives. They are studying success factors when implementing innovative resource efficiency technologies. In addition, they are supporting the project teams in evaluating their results. This is done three overarching aspects:

  • Intensifying the exchange of information about more efficient resource use in the context of “r+Impuls” and beyond.
  • Supporting the diffusion of innovative resource efficiency technologies by identifying the relevant obstacles and success factors and supporting the project teams in removing obstacles and exploiting success factors.
  • Analyzing important technical, economic and ecological effects and the potentials of more efficient resource use.
